The Israeli army said it struck militant group Hezbollah 's infrastructure in southern Lebanon on Sunday.
In a post on X, the IDF said: "STRUCK: Hezbollah military infrastructure, including underground infrastructure, at a Hezbollah site in the Beaufort Ridge area in southern Lebanon. This site and the activity within it constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon."
The strikes came a day after the Houthis confirmed an Israeli airstrike killed Ahmed al-Rahawi , the prime minister of the Houthi rebel-controlled government in Yemen’s capital Sanaa.
According to the Houthis, al-Rahawi was killed in Thursday’s strike along with a number of ministers. Other ministers and officials were wounded, the group said in a statement without giving further details.
The premier was targeted along with other members of his Houthi-controlled government during a "routine workshop held by the government to evaluate its activities and performance over the past year," the Houthi statement said.
