NEW DELHI: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat asked Sangh workers to uphold and propagate principles critical for social harmony and national resurgence.

"The nation is indebted to Ambedkar for infusing a spirit of reform and justice in modern India," he said.
Regarding economic aspects, Bhagwat emphasised reviving 'Swadeshi', encouraging support for locally manufactured goods based on traditional skills.
He noted that embracing Swadeshi strengthens both economic and cultural aspects.
The RSS chief spoke about environmental protection, highlighting the importance of preserving India's natural resources, wildlife, and traditional water management systems like village ponds and lakes, which face challenges from contemporary living patterns.
He discussed the importance of 'Civic Responsibility', stating that all citizens should participate in nation-building through their daily actions.
"Civic sense must become a part of our national character," he said.
