Dwyane Wade and his daughter Kaavia are making the most of their time in the absence of his wife. As Gabrielle Union-Wade is currently filming for her upcoming project in Rome, Kaavia James and her NBA dad were having their movie night. According to a snap shared by Dwyane Wade, the father and daughter were busy watching his all-time favorite show.
Gabrielle Union-Wade dealt with infertility issues for a very long time. After her trials and with multiple infertility treatments, the Hollywood star chose to go ahead with surrogacy. During an interview with Time in 2021, Gabrielle Union revealed it wasn’t an easy decision to continue with surrogacy. She said,
“I looked at D with an instantaneous white-hot rage. I was fighting with my husband about what was best for my body? Did he really think that surrogacy and a baby was our chance to set it right? To rebalance? I said coolly, “ You’re going to be the voice of reason now? Really?”
She further revealed,
“He looked me in the eye. “As much as we want this baby, I want you. We’ve lost too much in our relationship for me to be okay with encouraging you to do one more thing to your body and your soul.”
