After missing Game 3, after sustaining a pelvic contusion during the Warriors' Game 2 loss, Butler made a highly anticipated return to the roster, and he delivered a stunning performance, leading the team to victory. Jimmy Butler found his playmaking rhythm after he departed from the Miami Heat in a blockbuster trade to the Golden State Warriors. Following the trade, Butler has been crucial for the roster, bringing the team to playoff contention. Now, He is back in the team after a recent injury.
As the Warriors secured the game 4 win, Butler had a chat with TNT’s Allie LaForce as he shared that he found his joy back playing in the Bay Area. "It means the world. I'd die for these guys, for real. It's so fun. I've got my joy back," Butler said.
Further, Butler addressed his first-half clash with Dillon Brooks . "Somebody said something to me. That's all it takes. Someone to say something to me — gets me going every single time... There are mics underneath the goal, you can hear it," Butler said of his clash with Brooks.
"I always say we've got the most confident guys. Anybody can put the ball in the basket. But more than anything, we're locking in on the defensive side of the ball. We're playing hard. When we limit our turnovers, we're hard to beat," he added.
Butler turned in a highly efficient and composed performance, leading his team with 27 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field (58.3%). Despite taking only two shots from beyond the arc, he converted one, finishing with a solid 50% three-point percentage.
