Amidst all the chaos, Houston Rockets’ Alperen Sengun delivered a record-setting performance. Game 4 was full of drama as the brewing tension between the sides exploded after the second quarter, which followed a series of foul calls made by referees.

The Houston Rockets could not overcome the Golden State Warriors’ irritating tactics and lost Game 4, 109-106. However, the Rockets had a reason to smile as their center, Alperen Sengun, set a new record. Sengun ended the game with 31 points, the highest ever made by a Turkish player in the NBA playoffs .
According to StatMuse’s data, Sengun has averaged 21.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in his last three games against the Warriors. His game-high 31 points against the Warriors helped the Rockets put up a great fight.
His performance matters because the Golden State Warriors were into playing dirty mind games throughout Game 4. At one point, Sengun, too, was annoyed by the Warriors’ veteran Draymond Green’s tactics, who tried to make his way through the Rockets’ huddle.

Both teams have indulged in heated arguments and disruptive techniques in their previous games. Their emotions were unleashed after the second quarter of Game 4 when Draymond Green’s attempt to make way through the Rockets’ huddle annoyed the visiting team members, including Alperen Sengun.
Shortly after that, Stephen Curry and Dillon Brooks got into an altercation, which led to Brooks fouling Curry, to which Curry retorted with a taunt.
Green was not to slow down after the successful sneaking in through the Rockets’ huddle. He indulged in a brief encounter with Tari Eason. Not much later, Jimmy Butler again targeted Dillon Brooks, and both got into a verbal war. Their heated exchange led to Butler shoving Brooks to the floor.
With the Game 4 victory, the Warriors have firmly held onto the series, leading it 3-1. The Rockets hope to make a comeback in the ensuing games, with a confident Sengun on their side.
