Actor Sujay Reu, who recently won hearts with his powerful portrayal of Lord Rama in Shrimad Ramayan, reveals he is not in any social media platforms. In an excluisve conversation with Times Of India TV, the actor got candid about why keeps him away from social media and what has he been upto post the show.
Sujay shared, "Even though Social media has become a very important tool for actors to promote themselves but i am not personally fond of it. Yes its true that a lot of actors get work on the basis of social media followers but thanks to people like Siddharth Kumar tewary sir for whom these things doesnt matter. If you fit in his vision he will definitely cast you. I believe that obscurity is equally important for an actor and an actor should be know for his work rather than his social media profile."
He further shared what he has been upto post Shrimad Ramayan, "I read a lot...nowadays apart from reading i am playing a lot of table tennis as well."
Earlier, the actor shared, "Currently, I’m enjoying a small break and will be signing a new show soon,” he revealed. “I feel blessed to have portrayed such a soulful role as Lord Rama. Now, I’m eager to take on something new. I’d love to do a historical or period drama. Genres like crime, police, detective stories, and thrillers really excite me. As an actor, I’m open to unexpected opportunities that come my way."
He further got candid about his journey in TV, "The 13 years weren’t easy, but they were definitely worth it! It has been a learning experience for me. There were both highs and lows, but overcoming the challenges shaped me into who I am today. I even remember a time when I almost thought of giving up… but patience and my belief kept me going."
