Arshi Khan is deeply disturbed by the tragic incident that unfolded in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, on Tuesday, April 22. The former Bigg Boss contestant and actress revealed feeling unconscious till she was updated about the Indian Prime Minister promising that those responsible for the terrorist attack and their conspirators will be punished beyond their imagination.
She said, "The heart-wrenching terror attack in Pahalgam, has left me in a deep state of shock. The picture of a wife with her husband's dead body is so disturbing, another one in which we see the kid and mother has left me unconscious. I couldn't sleep last night and feeling unconscious, I'm feeling blank in my mind. This can happen to anyone, the lack of security is making everyone feel insecure."
She continued, "Being a Muslim, I question these terrorist are they even loyal to Allah, No God spheres crime and terror! They aren't muslim, I feel not even humans. I don't know if they read and respect the Quran, because the act was completely opposite to the teachings of our holy book. I'm sure this is a plan to divide Muslims and Hindus and divide our nation. I feel sad when people judge and question my religion, because of those terrorist people."
She added, "I'm sure our Prime Minister will teach them a good lesson. We can't recover the loss but we are not going to accept terror and fight back. I will pray Allah that he punishes them. It was just after listening to Modiji, that I felt better! The terrorist need to wait and watch now.."
The attack has deeply shocked the nation, sparking widespread grief and calls for decisive action against those responsible for this brutal act. Many celebrities too have expressed their condolences to the grieving families and voiced their concerns over the violence.
