I had what's called a heated debate on the Jeremy Vine show this week with the new leader of the Greens, Zack Polanski. He's the weirdo bloke who, till now, has spent his life doing a series of odd jobs - actor, theatre worker, hypnotist (He said he could "Think" women's breasts bigger). Which is funny right? What's not funny is the Green's latest policy to legalise all drugs including crack cocaine and heroin. So, Polanski wants the law to allow stupefied people to roam around shooting up with impunity. This ill-informed chump also quoted discredited information on countries which he said had successfully decriminalised drugs.
He quoted Portugal as a shining example. Er Hello? This is the country where hospital admissions for psychotic and schizophrenic episodes caused by cannabis rocketed 30 fold in five years, the country whose government is now saying the experiment has failed so badly its now thinking about criminalising drugs again because addiction has wrecked some of its major cities.
Polanski also naively imagines that legalising drugs will get rid of the drugs gangs. Again, grossly ill-informed. Because drugs gangs are still doing a roaring trade in countries and states where they have been decriminalised. Because when you legalise them, you tax them, and taxes push up the prices - so people go back to the gangs to get cheaper drugs.
But more importantly this dangerous man wants heroin, crack cocaine, ketamine and the like made available to young people who have no idea of the dangers - until they're hopelessly addicted.
He doesn't have kids so doesn't understand that drug addiction doesn't just wreck victims' lives, it also wrecks the lives of their families.
So, remember come the next election - this is the man who's literally campaigning for your kids to be allowed free and easy access to poison that will reduce them to stupefied addicts - and then kill them!
NB: A new poll this week says if there was an election tomorrow Reform - the party Polanski says is peopled by Nazis and fascists - would win 445 seats, Labour 73, the Tories 7 and the Greens a piddling 6.
Shows how in tune he is with the British people!

Tom Cruise and his actress girlfriend, Ana de Armas, have split after a nine-month romance.
I'm sure Ana won't be too broken-hearted. Before she dated Cruise, she'd made some bummer movies and was a virtual unknown.
But just a few months on the Mission Impossible star's arm and her career has gone into orbit. Cruise got her signed up with one of Tinseltown's most powerful agents and now she's in huge demand. She's even starring alongside Cruise in his next film.
AND she didn't have to sign up to his weird Scientology cult.
It's a win-win!!

Stop the clocks - Lily Allen is about to surprise us all with a new album written in just 10 days in which she apparently bares her soul (what again?).
A music insider says: "Everyone's been sworn to secrecy."
Not sure why. I don't think anyone's much interested.

At fortune Magazine's Most Powerful Women's summit in Washington this week the Duchess of Sussex gave a talk about her life as a "high profile business founder" (she wishes) and boasted she was going to "use my significant influence to build an empire".
Surely it was her obvious inability to build an empire that led Netflix to slash her and Harry's £74M contract to a much more downgraded deal?
Bottom line is if Meghan can't build an empire with the backing of one of the world's biggest and most successful companies she sure as Hell can't do it on her own.

The BBC is slashing its news and current affairs programmes. Why? Because its haemorrhaging money after 300,000 people - sick of being insulted with its Leftie biased news coverage - ditched their licence fee last year.
Still, as it's getting smashed in the ratings most days by GBNews no-one's likely to notice its reduced output.

I'm all for giving Donald Trump the praise he deserves for the Israel/Gaza peace deal but I'm not sure how happy the Egyptians are with him this week. While he was there, he was constantly giving the thumbs up sign which in Egypt is the equivalent of giving someone the finger.
It's enough to start another war!

So, now it turns out that when he was prime minister, Tony Blair also met the paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
Am I the only person who hasn't?

Sadiq Khan had his 55th birthday party aboard a £268M superyacht owned by billionaire Shahid (Shad) Khan known as Tash the Cash.
Shad owns Fulham Football Club and is a big backer of Donald Trump. Quite apart from the fact this shows what a grasping, greedy, hypocritical twerp London's mayor is, does he have no shame sticking his greedy little snout in the trough of billionaires while the lives of people in his city are being wrecked by him and his useless Government.
But much more importantly, what is Khan giving Shad in return for his largesse? Billionaires do nothing for free.
