Hot weather maps show 20C+ heat returning in days - check your area

Warm is making its way back to the UK in just days with temperatures of over 20C expected in some areas. A from WXCHARTS for Saturday May 10 at 6am shows in mainland Europe will reach up to 15C with some heat also spreading across to the UK. "Cloud will likely thicken across the far north and northwest during the weekend with some outbreaks of rain for a time."

The forecast continues that there is also a small risk of some heavy showers in the far south or southwest.

The say that through the following week, high pressure will be dominant across the UK.

It adds: "This will bring predominantly fine and dry weather for the majority of places. A few light showers are possible at times, but heavy rainfall is not expected.
