BBC Breakfast star Charlie Stayt clashed with his co-host Naga Munchetty in a debate about a bedroom blunder.
During Saturday's live show (17th May), Naga reported a story about a man wanting to plan a romantic surprise for his partner while at a hotel.
The person had arranged for hotel staff to scatter packets of crisps over their bed as his partner is a lover of the savoury snack.
But to the couple's suprise, the staff opened all of the crisp packets and dispersed them all over the bed.
Charlie admitted he also thought that's what the odd instruction meant.
He admitted: "I would have done the same", while Naga was shocked by Charlie's admission as he burst out laughing.
Explaining the full story, Naga said: "There's this couple who on a night out who came back and returned to their hotel. This guy, Johnny Norman, asked staff not to lay rose petals on the bed.
"But because his partner loved crisps, he brought all these crisp packets and wanted them laid out on the bed for her like a surprise.
"So what the staff did for his partner Rachel, they got all of the crisp packets that he had arranged, and they opened each one and then threw those on the bed, as if they were rose petals.
She added: "You can't see the picture but they had thought they had gone somewhere awful."

Charlie chimed in: "I think that's what I would have done. That's what I thought you meant, that they would be open."
He then asked: "She wanted actual crisp packets open on the bed?"
Naga replied: "Crisps all over the bedsheets?", as Charlie asked: "But why would she want crisp packets sitting on the bed, the plastic?"
"She likes crisps," Naga stated before Charlie added, "In that case, having them open would be much better."
Naga then exclaimed: "Is she supposed to dive into the bed and just trough them?"
Charlie started to laugh and he replied: "I don't know, I don't know!", before adding: "You can't blame the staff though as that makes sense to me", as they both shared a smile.
