History of Rambagh Palace

Rambagh Palace, which is called the 'Jewel of Jaipur' , was the residence of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II and his queen Maharani Gayatri Devi. Even today, the royal splendor and royal style can be seen in this palace, which used to be for kings and queens.

Located in the grand premises of the Rambagh Palace, Suvarna Mahal offers a royal dining experience. This restaurant used to be the ballroom of the palace, and even today its high ceilings, beautiful paintings and glittering chandeliers keep the royal feel alive. Many big personalities have dined here.

According to reports, the food prepared in the hotel includes traditional dishes from different states of India. For example, some special things from Rajasthan, Awadh, Punjab and Hyderabad have been added to it. Popular food here will include Rajasthani red meat, dum pukht biryani, dal makhani and gatta curry.

The palace is open to the general public

Rambagh Palace, Jaipur is open every day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Since the palace is now a luxury hotel, not all parts are accessible to the general public.

Tourists can visit parts of the palace, such as the gardens and the main hall, by purchasing tickets. The entry fee is Rs. 700 per person for Indian citizens, and Rs. 1,500 per person for foreign tourists. There are no tickets for children below 5 years of age.
