will be opening 15 new pub sites over the next year, with the first six locations now confirmed - with the first opening in just a few weeks.
This morning, Spoons revealed that like-for-like sales had jumped 5.6% in the 13 weeks to April 27. With this boost, the pub chain announced that it planned to open more branches across the UK,reports.
- which operates 795 pubs across the country - has already opened two new sites this year, with its new branch in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and at London's Waterloo station. Six more locations have now been confirmed with the first set to open this month.
The Conister Arms in Douglas on the Isle of Man will be opening doors to punters on Wednesday, May 14. After this, Spoons will open its new site Walham Green in Fulham Broadway in South West London next month on Tuesday, June 17.

The Dictum of Kenilworth in Warwickshire will follow, opening on Wednesday, July 30. The fourth new Wetherspoons pub will be opening towards the end of the summer on August 26. This will be the Sun Wharf on Tooley Street near London Bridge.
The King of Essex in Basildon will follow opening on Tuesday, September 23, and finally, the new site in Merchant Square, Paddington, is also set to open later this summer. However, an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
Announcements for the final nine of the 15 new pubs promised by Wetherspoons will come over the coming months. Over the last few months, Wetherspoons has opened four franchised pubs in partnership with Haven Holiday Parks.
These are, the Red Rocks at Devon Cliffs, The Humber Stone at Cleethorpes Beach in Lincolnshire, The London Stone at Kent Coast, and The Sir Thomas Haggerston at Haggerston Castle in Northumberland.
