A Dunelm bedding set that's said to be 'soft’ and doesn't need ironing could be perfect as we head into autumn. The retail giant is well-known for its homeware products, and a seasonal sale currently has a range of discounts on bedding.
One offer is on the Seersucker Woven Cotton Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set, which is 30% off. Usually costing between £45 and £75, depending on the size required, the bedding has been cut down to £31.50 for a single and up to £52.50 for a super king.
The textured crimped design is said to offer an airy and lightweight feel, while it's made from a pre-washed cotton fabric that Dunelm says "feels softer with every use". Lots of bedding sets don't include pillow cases, which are often sold separately nowadays, though they are included in this set.

It's available in all the standard bedding sizes, from single to super king, while shoppers have the option to choose from three colours to match their existing interior design. Green, white and natural (a creamy beige).
Dunelm isn't the only retailer with bedding on offer, with Debenhams also knocking some big discounts off a number of sets as we approach the end of summer. One such option is the Christy 100% Organic Cotton Duvet Cover Set.
That's priced at £35.75 - £55.25 - a 35% saving on the usual retail price. It comes in four colours - white, beige, pink and green - though some sizes are out of stock in certain colours.
Elsewhere, Dusk has an affordable option with the Cambridge 200 Thread Count Duvet Cover. That's priced at £15 for a single, £25 for a double, £30 for king size and £35 for a super king.
Of the 10 reviews of the Dunelm Seersucker set left to date, eight have awarded the full five stars, with the product averaging out at 4.8 out of 5. One said: "Bought for parents and they were very happy, said it was so soft and no need to iron."
Another continued: "A light airy duvet cover that looks great and great in the summer heat." Another said: "Just what I was hoping for.
The colour is perfect. The duvet truly doesn't need ironing, but still looks great. Seersucker is such an underrated material!" The two lowest reviews were four stars, though the buyers didn't elaborate on any reasons why they deducted a star.
However, one of the five- star reviews did highlight a potential slight issue worth considering: "I was disappointed that it’s only seersucker fabric on one side.
@The other side is plain cotton weave, dyed to match. So there is only one way to have this duvet cover. But that’s a small matter. It is very pleasing to sleep under."
