The ring was also visible in other photos shared by the couple, including one that showed Taylor and Travis hugging. She had her hand, with the ring on display, placed against his head as they embraced after getting engaged.
Travis is said to have helped to design the engagement ring, which has been described as being in the old mine brilliant cut style. TMZ reports that it's learned that it was created by Kindred Lubeck, with sources adding that the jeweller worked with groom-to-be Travis on the design.
It's thought that there may have been clues to the engagement from the couple previously. There's also speculation that Taylor may have known it was coming herself.
Taylor appeared ready and waiting with her manicured nails and coordinated jewellery, as well as the scene resembling the music video for Lover, are potential signs.
While Taylor and Travis were both in matching Ralph Lauren outfits in the romantic scenes.
This may have been a coincide, or planning on Travis' part, but the outlet adds that it could also be a hint towards them wanting to look coordinated for the headline-making moment.
Taylor and Travis' joint post has amassed more than 5 million likes within an hour of being uploaded. Fans have shared their thoughts on X, including on the engagement ring itself. One person wrote in a post: "This ring is so TAYLOR."
Now, his father Ed, who split from Travis' mother Donna more than a decade ago, has given their millions of fans around the world a hint of when they can expect the A-list couple to say their vows.
Ed explained that the couple are yet to set a date for the wedding but said that he has never seen his son "happier" than when he is with Swift.
He said: "We actually went to a thing in Kansas City Sunday night, which was an ESPN airing of The Kingdom and went to that, and his mother and I went with him back to his house for dinner, where Taylor made dinner, and we had a wonderful dinner with them outside on the patio and to just watch the two of them, just crazy about each other. It's truly kinda neat."
Ed added: "They're just two young people very much in love, cast in a spotlight that they really haven't sought but kind of followed with their success in their respective fields."
The happy news broke in the middle of the Kansas City Chiefs' media availability, though after head coach Andy Reid had departed. Defensive end Mike Danna was then left field questions about it.
Mike said about the engagement: "Man, it's incredible. I was caught off guard but you know, great for them. But you know, great for them. That's a blessing. Any time you find that type of joy, blessing, love - that's a beautiful thing.
