A new treat from Lidlhas been causing a stir on social media recently, with customers even suggesting it could be "the best thing Lidl has ever brought out in its bakery".
However, any shoppers still hoping to get their hands on the highly praised treat will need to act fast, as it leaves Lidl bakeries today. Lidl recently introduced a new Dubai-style muffin as part of its bakeries Special Guests range.
The muffin, which seems to be chocolateflavoured with a pistachio filling, is inspired by the Dubai chocolate trend of kadayif and pistachio-cream filled chocolate.

Since launching the new muffin on September 18, Lidl's Dubai-style muffin has rapidly become a must-try item, with many customers taking to social media to sing its praises.
On TikTok, one popular food reviewer, Angelina, gave the muffin a particularly glowing review, stating she thought it was "the best thing Lidl has ever brought out in its bakery". She added: "Look at the chocolate muffin it's so moist - you can really taste the pistachio."
Other customers have also been sharing their high praise of the treat, which is priced at £1.99 or, for Lidl Plus members, £1.49.
On TikTok, shopper Jamie Dear, under the handle @thedeardiaries, wrote: "IT WAS 10/10! ! ! I could eat this muffin every single day." Another shopper, under the handle @travelwithpib, wrote: "I tried it today. OMG WOW I NEED ALL OF THEM and they are on offer with your Lidl + card!".
Others have also expressed their enthusiasm to sample the delicacy, with one customer under the TikTok handle @nathalieeee620 declaring they were "running to Lidl to get it".

However, whilst some customers have suggested that the product may be one of Lidl's finest bakery offerings, others have taken a different view. One shopper, under the handle @nathalieeee620, indicated that they felt the muffin "wasn't that good" despite numerous others celebrating the delicacy. They added: "Lidl has so much better than this in the bakery."
Nevertheless, for enthusiasts of the Dubai-style muffin, time is running short to secure it as Lidl has confirmed it will be departing stores at the end of the day, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The Dubai-style muffin was launched as part of Lidl's Special Guests bakery collection which features limited-edition bakery products that are available in stores for a brief period.
