Police have issued an update after adead body was found in a park.
Leicestershire Police said the reason for a cordon at the Wykin Community Park on the outskirts of Hinckley, Leicestershire yesterday morning was the discovery of a man's body.
A cordon could be seen close to a wooded part of the park, which is run by Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. In a brief statement released last night, Leicestershire Police said there was no crime involved and that police would be carrying out a probe.
Police will not be naming the individual, and they have withheld his age. An inquest is expected at a later date, according toLeicestershireLive.

Police said: "Just after 8.30am today (Saturday) police were called to Wykin Park in Hinckley following a report that the body of a man had been found. Officers attended and a scene preservation is in place.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner. Identification of the deceased is a matter for HM Coroner."
It comes just days after police in Wiltshire launched an investigation after a dog walker found "charred" remains at a UK beauty spot.
The body of a man was discovered at Savernake Forest, just outside Marlborough, Wiltshire, at around 8am on Monday. Emergency services rushed to the scene after the dog walker alerted police.
The force confirmed officers were called to a report that “a body had been found in Savernake Forest”. Members of the public were warned to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing, however the cordon has since been lifted.
At this stage, police have not said how long the remains are believed to have been in situ.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said "We are investigating a sudden death after a body was found in Savernake Forest, Marlborough, at around 8am on Monday (25/08).
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding their death and to identify their next of kin. There will be an increased policing presence in the area over the coming days.
"This is being treated as a non-suspicious death but as with all investigations of this nature we are keeping an open mind and following all lines of enquiry. We ask the public and media not to speculate about the case."
