Donna Preston was on the verge of tears as she revealed that her weight gain led to the end of a relationship during Thursday night's episode of Celebs Go Dating.
The comedienne, 39, is currently one of the famous faces looking for love on the latest series of the E4 reality show and is appearing alongside the likes of Kerry Katona, S Club's Jon Lee and Made In Chelsea star Sam Prince.
But as she sat down with dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul C. Brunson, Donna, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, became emotional as she theorised why one of her previous partners had fallen 'out of love' with her as her body changed.

She said: "What really got me was that he said 'I should have left you four years ago because I haven't loved you for four years.' This for me is key. You can't waste someone's time. You've wasted four years of my life. You didn't love me, you didn't respect me. You didn't care.
"It was what it was but I put on weight. That was...just weight. But that's when it really started going sour."
Anna told her: "It feels like you really haven't been your own cheerleader in relationships at all because you feeling as if you are responsible for a relationship demise for how you look. Does that sound fair?" Donna then said she could 'understand' why the relationship went awry because she had changed so much. Donna replied: "Yeah," but Anna asked: "Do you think that's fair?" She said: "I understand why he went off me because I looked like a different person."
When Anna asked if her former boyfriend ever complimented her, Donna said: "Yeah sometimes, whilst playing video games 'Oh, yep, yep yep.'
Away from the meeting, Anna suspected in a confessional that Donna is covering up her personal 'heartbreak'.
She said: "Donna clearly holds a lot of her emotions in. She puts up a big wall of defence but she's clearly protecting what, I think, a very broken heart. But if she really does want to be open to finding love, she has to be more vulnerable."
But Anna was quick to reassure Donna that she was not the reason behind the end of the relationship. She told her: "The association that you have created that 'it's my fault because I changed', that relationship did not break down because of you, Donna. Okay?" Donna held back the tears as she started to accept that and said: "Okay."
In a confessional, the TV star admitted: "The session today has been a tricky one. And speaking to Anna and Paul, they have given me some great advice It's just not okay the way I was treated back then but going forward, hopefully I can be stronger."
It was then that Anna and Paul introduced her to her next date, a 40-year-old civil servant from Liverpool. In a video message, he explained that he was a huge fan of Doctor Who and is an avid Lego set collector. Not entirely convinced, Donna said: "There's a lot of things he does that my ex does. Comics, Lego. For me, it's not my thing."
Despite her trepidations, Donna agreed to give it a go and was sent on her way to meet the new man.
