BREAKING: Israel launches strike on Qatar in bid to wipe out Hamas leadership

Israel have launched a strike targeting Hamas' leadership in Qatar in a further attack against the militant group.

Black smoke rose over the skyline of the Qatari capital, Doha, with authorities there acknowledging the strike.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was hurt in the attack.
