BGT's mind-boggling magic trick ends in proposal as Simon Cowell left speechless

last semi-final of 2025 has ended in a magical proposal. The show will crown its 18th winner in just seven days' time, but before that, magician Harry Moulding left viewers in awe as he performed an truly mind-boggling trick.

Simon was so impressed with Harry, 24, that he warned the rest of the finalists to up their game. "Everyone else should be worried," the music mogul chimed after he was left utterly gobsmacked by Harry's incredible talents.

After making a number of amazing predictions - which included guessing the names of audience members at random after asking judges , Alesha Dixon, and Amanda Holden to choose seat numbers at random - Harry had the ultimate surprise for one lucky audience member named Jess.

After Amanda picked seat number S-15 at complete random out of Harry's notepad, the crazily talented magician spoke to Jess, who was sitting in that seat number. After guessing her name correctly out of the blue, Harry told Jess that he had the ultimate surprise in store for her.

Harry asked Jess to pick a destination at random from his notepad, after two audience members picked a celebrity - Bruno Mars - and a number at random, which was 178. After flicking through the notepad and picking a page at random, Jess chose her location and settled on Paris.

Much to the confusion of viewers, Harry then took Jess' hand and led her to the stage where he told her click a button on a remote. He then appeared on-screen and a pre-recorded clip which had been filmed 48-hours previously appeared on the screen.

During the segment, Harry left audience members gasping as he correctly listed off the celebrity which the audience member had chosen, which was of course, Bruno Mars.

He then held up a photo of Bruno, and turned it around to a blank page to reveal the number 178 - which another audience member had chosen just moments before.

Things took a spooky turn when Harry finally confirmed where he was while recording the segment. As he walked away from the camera, it was revealed that he was filming the clip straight from Paris and in front of the Eiffel Tower - the exact destination that Jess had chosen from his notepad.

If that wasn't enough magic for everyone, Harry then stopped a passerby to ask them if they were to get married, how many people would they have at their wedding. The random man, also called Harry, said that if he was to get married, he would most likely invite 178 people to his wedding.

When asked what his first dance would be, Harry said that he is a huge fan of Bruno Mars, so his first dance would most likely be one of his chart-topping hits. As the cameras panned back to Jess, she had a look of pure shock and confusion on her face before declaring that the man that the magician was speaking to was in fact her boyfriend.

Harry then asked Jess' boyfriend if he were to get married, where he would tie the knot. Jess' boyfriend said: "Here, in Paris." As the audience members were left utterly speechless, Harry then arrived on stage alongside Jess before getting down on one knee and popping the question in front of the judges and the audience - as Jess placed her hands in her head in pure shock.

Viewers at home were left completely baffled as to how the star had managed to pull of the magic trick and pondered how he had made such incredible predictions. "HOW HAS HE DONE THIS. THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE," one fan excliamed.

"OMG!!! This is truly crazy. Harry needs to win BGT," someone else echoed. "WHAT THE HELL!!!! Honestly the best BGT contestant there has ever been. My mind is so frazzled as to how he's managed all of this," another added.

And the judges proved that they were beyond impressed too, as KSI immediately slammed down on the golden buzzer the moment hosts Ant and Dec asked for their thoughts on Harry's performance. Harry fell to the floor in disbelief - and it looks as though he's in the running to win the 2025 series of BGT.
