All Creatures Great and Small stars say 'there's more stories to tell' amid spin-off hopes

All Creatures Great and Small, the popular Channel 5 series, has been following James Herriot (portrayed by Nicholas Ralph) and Helen as they juggle their roles as busy working parents.

Though the war is nearing its end, its effects continue to ripple through daily life in Darrowby, with everyone doing their best to cope.

Callum Woodhouse reprises his role as Tristan Farnon, a character who finds it challenging to readjust to civilian life during his leave.

Tristan's character is based on the real-life Brian Sinclair, and Woodhouse shared exclusive insights with Reach titles about delving into the renowned vet's past.

When quizzed about the possibility of a Tristan Farnon spin-off, he responded: "That would be cool, I would do that - go to Egypt and Italy."

He expressed particular interest in exploring Brian Sinclair's tenure in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and his career outside the veterinary clinic.

Woodhouse commented: "I think the series is potentially deviating slightly from the real history. I could have numerous spin-offs."

Nicholas Ralph, who plays James Herriot, was also part of the conversation, and Woodhouse suggested that James could "have a cameo" in a Tristan spin-off.

Ralph replied: "Absolutely", indicating his enthusiasm for the idea of delving deeper into the characters' lives.

At present, the long-term future of the show remains uncertain, but both stars expressed their eagerness to continue telling more of the story.

In an exclusive chat with Reach titles, he revealed: "There's certainly more stories to tell, I'd love to do more so we will see how long that is.

"That's to be seen, but for sure, currently there's more stories to tell and I'd love to do more."

Woodhouse further added: "I definitely don't think we are done yet, but also there's always the risk of overstaying your welcome and you don't want people to get sick of it."
