A strange incident was seen in the match played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Mumbai Indians (MI). Sunrisers batsman Ishan Kishan walked out on his own without the umpire giving him out, which surprised everyone. Kishan's bat did not touch Deepak Chahar's ball going on the leg side and neither the bowler nor the fielders appealed but Kishan himself walked towards the pavilion due to which the umpire also had to raise his finger.
However, when the replay was seen a few minutes later, it became clear that the ball did not touch Kishan's bat. Seeing this strange incident, fans on social media are making different allegations against Kishan that he deliberately lost his wicket against his old team while some fans are also accusing him of fixing. At the same time, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag also reprimanded Kishan.
Sehwag called the incident a "brain fade moment" and questioned the young batsman's decision to leave the field without waiting for the umpire's decision. Reacting to the incident, Sehwag said on Cricbuzz, "Many times, the brain stops working at that time. It was brain fade. Hey brother stop it. The umpires are also taking money. Let the umpire do his job. I could not understand this kind of honesty. If the edge of the ball was clean, it would have been right according to the spirit of the game. But here even the umpire looked uncertain and suddenly Ishan left, it does not make any sense."
If we talk about this season, then the Hyderabad team is currently on the verge of being out of the playoff race. With the sixth defeat in eight matches, the team is stuck at the ninth position in the IPL 2025 table. Ishan started this season with a century, but since then his form has declined. In such a situation, only a miracle can take this team to the top-4 from here.
