Mumbai: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), led by India’s top industrialist Mukesh Ambani, has made a record-breaking contribution of Rs 2,10,269 crore to the Indian government in financial year 2024–25. This includes payments through taxes, levies, spectrum charges, and other financial obligations.
This figure is 12.8 percent higher than the previous year’s contribution of Rs 1,86,440 crore. It's also the first time that Reliance’s annual contribution to the exchequer has crossed the Rs 2 lakh crore mark.

Over the last six financial years (FY20–FY25), Reliance has paid more than Rs 10 lakh crore to the government. This cements its position as India’s highest contributor to the national treasury among private companies.
This amount reflects the company’s growing scale and consistent financial performance — even during challenging global and domestic economic conditions.
