Mumbai: A book, ‘Bring Your Own Shark’, authored by Col Navinder Narang (Retd) was launched at the Army Officers Institute, Juhu, recently. The event witnessed a diverse gathering of leaders, professionals and veterans.
The event featured a curtain-raiser by Dr Himanshu Mehta, the unveiling of the book website, and an address by Harish Mehta, co-founder of NASSCOM. Guests shared personal reflections, and video tributes were presented by prominent figures including Gen C B Ponnappa.
The highlight of the event was the ‘Shark Talk’ between Col Sushil Pradhan and the author, delving into the book’s core metaphors. “Bring Your Own Shark” is a bold, metaphor-driven book that inspires professionals to choose their challenge, embrace discomfort, and grow – one shark at a time, said Col Narang, an army veteran.
