Buddha Purnima 2025: Every year the full moon date of the month of Vaishakh is celebrated with reverence and devotion as Buddha Purnima. This year this auspicious day is falling on Monday, May 12. According to religious belief, Lord Gautam Buddha was born on this day, he attained enlightenment and it was here that he also attained Mahaparinirvana.
