HDFC Bank has reduced its Marginal Cost of Funds-based Lending Rates (MCLR), which will benefit borrowers whose loans are linked to this benchmark. The bank has lowered the MCLR by up to 15 basis points (bps) on select loan tenures. A basis point is one-hundredth of a percentage point.
Following the revision, HDFC Bank’s MCLR rates now range from 8.45% to 8.65%, depending on the loan tenure. Earlier, HDFC Bank’s MCLR rates ranged from 8.55% to 8.75%.

HDFC Bank’s overnight MCLR reduced from 8.55% to 8.45%. The bank has cut its one-month MCLR from 8.55% to 8.40, while its three-month MCLR is reduced by 15 bps from 8.60% to 8.45%. The six-month and one-year MCLR rates have been cut by 10 bps each, from 8.65% to 8.55%. The two-year MCLR has also been reduced from 8.70% to 8.60%, while the three-year rate is reduced from 8.75% to 8.65%
