There's good news for young people dreaming of a government job in the Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a short notification for new recruitment for Non-Technical Popular Category (Graduate and Undergraduate) positions. According to the notification, this recruitment will fill 5,817 NTPC Graduate and 3,058 NTPC Undergraduate positions.

Eligibility for RRB NTPC Recruitment
To apply for graduate-level posts, candidates must have completed a graduation from a recognized university/institute. For some positions, candidates must have a graduation degree and computer proficiency/typing skills. Educational qualifications require candidates to be at least 18 years old and not more than 33/36 years old, depending on the position. Relaxations will be given to candidates from reserved categories as per rules.

Furthermore, to apply for undergraduate-level positions, candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized board/institute. For some positions, candidates must also have knowledge of Hindi/English typing.

In addition to educational qualifications, the minimum age of a candidate must be 18 years old and not more than 33 years old. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules. Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2025.

Only a short notification has been issued for this recruitment. The application process will begin soon with a notification issued by RRB. Applications can only be submitted online; no other forms will be accepted. Along with filling the application form, General/OBC/EWS candidates need to pay a fee of ₹500 and SC/ST/PH/Women candidates need to pay ₹250. The application fee can be paid online.
