What to do to get a PAN card reissued?
1. First of all go to the official NSDL website. Here you have to enter your PAN card number, 10-digit Aadhaar number, and date of birth.
2. After this, agree to the terms and conditions (T&C) and complete the captcha and submit.
3. Your PAN card information will appear on the screen. To proceed, you have to order a new PAN card and enter your PIN.
4. Verify your address and make the payment. For this, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50. After completing these steps, your duplicate PAN card will be delivered to your registered address within a few days.
For those who do not know, let us tell you that a PAN card is a very important document and if you have not linked the PAN number to your bank account and your savings account is earning interest of Rs 10,000 or more in a year, then the bank will deduct 30% TDS instead of 10%. Even if your TDS has been deducted in excess, you will not be able to claim it. So if your PAN card is lost, apply for it online immediately.
