AIIMS Gorakhpur Jobs: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur has issued a notification for recruitment to various posts of Super Specialty Faculty (Group-A). This recruitment will be done on a contract basis, as well as retired faculty will also be provided the opportunity on a contract basis.

A total of 50 posts of Super Specialty Faculty (Group-A) will be recruited through this recruitment drive. These include 6 posts of Professor, 5 posts of Additional Professor, 18 posts of Associate Professor, and 21 posts of Assistant Professor.

Out of a total of 50 vacancies, 16 posts are reserved for General Category (UR), 9 posts for Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 13 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 7 posts for Scheduled Caste (SC) and 5 posts for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

Who can apply
If you want to apply for a general medical faculty post, then you must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) degree in that subject. This degree must be from a recognized institute.

If you are applying for a super specialty (such as cardiology, neurosurgery, etc.), then you must have a Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Master of Chirurgy (M.Ch.) degree in that field, which can be a course of 2, 3 or 5 years duration. The maximum age for this recruitment should be 58 years, that is, people above 58 years of age cannot apply.

Application fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 3000. On the other hand, SC, ST, Divyang, and women candidates will not have to pay any fee, the application is free for them.

This much salary will be given.
In this recruitment, there will be appointments on the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate, and Assistant Professor. Salary is from Rs to Rs 2,20,400 as per the 7th Pay Commission, along with allowances and NPA (if applicable).

The recruitment process will be on a direct recruitment, deputation, or contract basis. There will be only direct recruitment for assistant professors.

Retired professors will get a remuneration of Rs 2,20,000 per month for consultant posts and Rs 2,00,000 per month for additional professors.
